2012 – Amelia Galuska
Amelia GaluskaAmelia graduated from PVSS and received a $1000 ASET Bursary in 2012. She enrolled at Thompson Rivers University and will pursue a Bachelor of Natural Resources Science and hopes to receive a final degree as an Agrologist.

 

2012 – Reka Vasarhelyi
Reka VasarhelyiReka graduated from PVSS and received a $1000 ASET Bursary in 2012. Reka enrolled at Okanagan College in Water Technology and Engineering Technology and hopes to receive a final degree in Water Technology.

 

2011 – Claire MacDonald
Claire MacDonaldClaire graduated from PVSS and received a $1000 ASET Bursary in 2011. She enrolled at the University of Victoria in Environmental Journalism.

 

 

2010 – Katherine Bulmer
Katherine BulmerKatherine graduated from PVSS and received a $1000 ASET Bursary in 2010. Katherine deferred acceptance of the bursary until 2011. She enrolled at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick in Environmental Studies.

 

2010 – Teghan McArthur
Tegan McArthurTeghan graduated from PVSS and received a $1000 ASET Bursary in 2009. Teghan enrolled at the University of Calgary in the Bachelor of Sciences Biological Program.

 

 

2010 – Colton Copp
Colton CoppColton graduated from PVSS and received a $1000 ASET Bursary in 2010. Colton enrolled at Vancouver Island University in Resource Management Officer Technology Program/Conservation Officer.

 

2008 – Olivia Nowek
Olivia NowekOlivia graduated from PVSS and received a $1000 ASET Bursary in 2008. She is currently in her first year of studies at the University of British Columbia Okanagan working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Geography.

 

2007 – Nicole Gobeil
Nicole GobeilNicole received a $1000 bursary from ASET in 2007. Nicole deferred acceptance of the bursary while she was a Rotary Exchange Student in Norway. She started at Okanagan College at the Kalamalka Campus in 2008. After much thought Nicole has decided to upgrade her courses at the college and move on to the University of Calgary to complete a Bachelor’s of Science in earth and environmental sciences, hopefully specializing in glaciers in the Rocky Mountains.

 

2006 – Lindsey Keller-Eason
Lindsey Keller-EasonLindsay Keller-Eason was a $1000 recipient of the ASET Bursary Award in 2004 and has since earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a Biology minor at UBC Okanagan in 2007. This unique degree has given her the ability to connect social and cultural constructs to environmental responsibility.

 

2006 – Claire de la Salle
Claire de la SalleIn 2006 Claire de la Salle was a $1000 recipient of the ASET bursary. In 2007, Claire graduated with distinction from Okanagan College with a diploma in Water Quality and Environmental Engineering Technology (WQT). This program provided training in the design, operation and maintenance of water systems and environmental monitoring. During this time she spearheaded the Department of WQT participation in the Adopt a Stream program which proved to be a very fulfilling experience.
